The Challenge:

We're looking for a systems administrator for Linux and Windows systems to help us support customer technical projects dealing with the test, maintenance, and fielding of communications security equipment being executed in multiple lab environments.
As a systems administrator on our project, you'll maintain and modify system configurations and recommend hardware upgrades. You'll provide your customers insight into their network through monitoring and performance management. Your technical expertise will be vital as you identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement in a mission critical network. You'll help your team better understand the network by turning metrics into information and explaining their meaning. This is an opportunity to broaden your skillset into areas like cybersecurity and cryptography. We focus on growing as a team, so you'll share your expertise through leadership and mentoring as you help the team work through challenges and develop new methodologies. As a technical leader, you'll identify new opportunities to modernize the network to help your customers meet their needs. You Have:
- Experience managing multiple, diverse systems, including Windows environments
- Experience in the timely application of mandatory software updates or security patches
- Experience troubleshooting and configuring networks, and performing system recovery of user access and data
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
- Bachelor's degree
Nice If You Have:
- Experience creating and maintaining virtual machines using KVM and VirtualBox virtualization software
- Experience with MS Windows applications including Email, S/MIME, and Chrome
- Knowledge of computer networking and configuring Cisco Routers and Switches and programming and scripting, including C++, Python, PowerShell, or Bash
- Microsoft Windows Certifications, including MCSA, MCSD, or MCSE
- Linux+ Certification

Applicants selected will be subject to a government investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements of the U.S. government client.
Compensation:
The proposed salary range for this position in Colorado is $70,000 to $85,000. Final salary will be determined based on various factors.
