System Administrator, Mid
The Challenge:

We're looking for a systems administrator for Linux and Windows systems to help us support customer technical projects dealing with the test, maintenance, and fielding of communications security equipment being executed in multiple lab environments.

As a systems administrator on our project, you'll maintain and modify system configurations and recommend hardware upgrades. You'll provide your customers insight into their network through monitoring and performance management. Your technical expertise will be vital as you identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement in a mission critical network. You'll help your team better understand the network by turning metrics into information and explaining their meaning. This is an opportunity to broaden your skillset into areas like cybersecurity and cryptography. You Have:

• Experience managing multiple, diverse systems, including Windows environments
• Experience in the timely application of mandatory software updates or security patches
• Experience troubleshooting and configuring networks, and performing system recovery of user access and data
• Ability to perform security scans using ACAS and apply the DoD Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) as part of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process
• Ability to configure Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) and Domain Name System (DNS) servers
• Secret clearance
• HS diploma or GED and 5+ years of experience with system administration managing multiple, diverse systems or Bachelor's degree
• IAT Level II Certification

Nice If You Have:

• Experience with CentOS Linux, including 6, 7, and 8
• Experience creating and maintaining virtual machines using KVM and VirtualBox virtualization software
• Experience with the handling of DoD cryptographic products
• Knowledge of MS Windows applications, including Email, S/MIME, Chrome and PyCharm
• Knowledge of Network File System (NFS) and Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) and Puppet configuration management software
• Knowledge of DoD security and information assurance related security requirements, including DCID 6-3, DoD IIS, Type 1 Certification, and NIST guidelines
• Knowledge of computer networking and configuring Cisco Routers/Switches and programming and scripting, including C++, Python, PowerShell, or Bash
• Knowledge of Ansible Automation Platform for server administration and Ubuntu operating system
• Microsoft Windows Certifications, including MCSA, MCSD, or MCSE
• Linux+ Certification

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
