The Support Specialist, Tableau Admin will have a hands-on role owning the configuration, management, and support of our data visualization platform.  He or she will partner with Collibra’s Data Office to drive adoption of our data visualization platform and ensure our platform is properly supported and secured as Collibra continues our hyper growth.  Collibra is the leading Cloud Data Intelligence platform provider, and you will be instrumental in bringing the power of data intelligence to everyone at Collibra.

Support Specialist, Tableau Admin's at Collibra are responsible for:

  • Own our Tableau Business Intelligence Visualization platform, including managing our relationship with the vendor and executing our contract renewals.
  • Partner with our Data Office to implement our Enterprise Data strategy, including integrating to our data warehouses and driving analytics back to the users to use in their day-to-day lives.  Partner with Tableau creators and authors across Collibra to deliver data products.
  • Lead the IT Support for our Tableau environment ensuring our users have the access to the data that will spark the ideas to fuel our business.  Configure the roles and permissions in our business intelligence visualization and automation platforms.
  • Lead the IT Support for our Automation and Integration platform to unite our people, teams, and systems and remove the manual, tedious, and mundane from the lives of our coworkers and customers.
  • Partner with InfoSec to execute IT solutions in line with security policies and collaborate on new technology implementations.

You Have:

  • 2+ years of experience with administration of business intelligence visualization tools such as Tableau.
  • Tableau Server Certified Associate certification (or would be willing to acquire the certification within 6 months of starting at Collibra)
  • Experience working with Data Office or Business Intelligence teams to deliver dashboards, reports, and data products.
  • Experience working directly with end-users to troubleshoot issues, create solutions, and deliver an exceptional experience.
  • A business-first approach to building integrations, systems, and applications. You care about the business impact of your technical work.

Measuring Success:

  • Within your first month, you will understand Collibra’s data systems portfolio, team priorities/initiatives, and meet with business stakeholders. You’ll also meet and align with the data analytics and business technology teams to understand business goals and direction to develop a strategy for administering our business intelligence visualization platform.
  • Within your third month, you will partner with Collibra’s Data Office to expand and refine the integrations to enrich our data warehouse and data intelligence platform in collaboration with Collibra’s Enterprise Architect.
  • Within your sixth month, you will have delivered and continue to execute on your strategy for our business intelligence visualization and automation platforms.  You will have built a model for monitoring these platforms while working with our Data Office to advance our Enterprise Data strategy.
