The Role

As a Support Analyst (Sharepoint, Azure, One Drive), you will be part of a team within Workplace Technology Production Services. We provide electronic-mail, unified communications, video conferencing, and mobile productivity solutions for the global corporate environment supporting approximately 60,000 people and 15,000 mobile devices. We provide support 24x7x365 in a fast-paced work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure system reliability by keeping the platform up to date on patches, and provide support for disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
  • Ensure compliance with all financial regulations relating to electronic communications
  • Provide support necessary to troubleshoot complex issues within a global, infrastructure
  • Provide accurate responses to auditor and regulator inquires in a timely manner
  • Provide support necessary to troubleshoot complex issues within a global infrastructure
  • Demonstrate support of team and company goals.

Qualifications

  • In-depth knowledge of SharePoint 2007/2010/2013
  • In-depth knowledge of SharePoint Online, Azure Basics (Cloud Understanding)
  • In-depth knowledge of One Drive
  • Conceptual knowledge of SQL Server 2016, 2019 capabilities
  • In-depth knowledge of SharePoint/Windows PowerShell, Sharepoint Online Shell, and PnP Shell
  • Knowledge of Windows Server 2016, 2019 Administration

Preferred:

  • SharePoint product migration experience (On-Prem to Online / OnPrem To On-Prem)
  • SharePoint App infrastructure administration
  • Knowledge of Power Automate
  • Third party tool experience such as Metalogix, Sharegate, Doc Ave, Nintex, et cetera
  • Basic knowledge of load balancing, DNS,
  • Understanding of ITIL
  • May allocate/coordinate work within a team/project.
  • Formulates plans to meet system objectives for the corporation; works in all phases of system analysis, implementation measurement, and reporting.
  • Oversees software installations and upgrades to operating systems and layered software packages.
  • Analyzes user hardware and software needs and recommends upgrades or new purchases.
  • Installs, configures, and develops middleware utility programs and related distributed system software on multiple mainframe/distributed hardware/software environments.
  • Leads the middleware team in providing more complex on-site and on-call support through analysis and research.
  • Collaborates and consults with application development teams to determine platform selection, efficient transaction design, and use.
  • Communicates both formally and informally with customers and end users.
  • Reviews new/modified file transmission requests submitted by all internal business partners at BNY Mellon.
  • Contributes to the achievement of related teams' objectives
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required; advanced degree preferred
  • 6 - 8 years of related infrastructure experience required; experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus
