Supply Chain Sr. Advisor - Work from home
Cigna is looking for a proven Supply Chain leader to strengthen our existing planning processes, and help us bridge the gap between capacity planning, operational readiness, and enterprise strategy. The Supply Chain Sr. Advisor will own the end to end planning strategy for a large scale value chain servicing health care providers. The successful candidate will apply their supply chain experience to develop, execute, maintain and strengthen a logistics strategy across the provider eco-system.
Responsibilities
- Own the strategic supply chain plan for the provider ecosystem
- Lead diagnostic assessments of our planning processes and practices to determine the appropriate solutions that will drive decisions and best in class results.
- Leverage Supply Chain experience to shape the vision of operational planning, develop new processes, and lead strong governance practices on an ongoing basis
- Partner with the operational team, talent acquisition, quality, and other matrix partners to understand and simplify processes, establish and lead the overall supply chain transformation for the provider eco system
- Continuously work to identify areas of improvement across network, develop improvement plans that deliver measurable impact to quality / costs
- Recommend appropriate new or revised change management tools and practices
- Demonstrate the value of a solution (not just demonstrate the functionality)
- Build strong relationships with internal customers and partners, should be viewed as a trusted advisor
Qualifications
- 7-10 years Supply Chain / Logistics experience, experience in a service environment preferred
- Bachelor's Degree or commensurate experience required
- Process Excellence training or certification such as Lean, Six Sigma is preferred
- Strong executive verbal and written communication skills and analytical thinking are necessary for driving a high level of impact.
- Ability to synthesize numerous sources of information to create long range forecasting models.
- Must be able to form strong partnerships and develop trusted advisor relationships
- Strong influencing skills and ability to drive results in a matrix environment
- Demonstrated project management skills
- Proficiency in advanced analytics platforms preferred
For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of $83,000 - $138,300, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
