As a Supply Chain Packaging Specialist, you will help ensure that our product packaging arrives on time and meets our high standard of quality. Reporting to the Senior Supply Chain Manager, you will handle the day to day during development and production of all Hims and Hers product packaging and serve as a main contact for our vendors. This role will allow you to gain experience across a number of product lines and help influence our supplier portfolio.

Responsibilities: 

• Manages new projects and day-to-day production across Hims’ packaging partners
• Executes new and ongoing product timelines to ensure packaging arrives on time
• Works closely with the Hims & Hers creative team to coordinate samples and communicate packaging specifications with vendors
• Communicates and manages changes to existing packaging
• Assists in the RFx process for identifying new packaging suppliers
• Acts as a supply chain representative in the creative design and review process for packaging
• Helps identify, implement, and track cost reduction strategies
• Executes purchase orders for packaging components
• Ensures contract compliance while managing and tracking supplier performance

Experience & Skills: 

• 2+ years of work experience in supply chain, procurement, or a related field
• Experience working with packaging manufacturing or sourcing preferred
• Experience with quality assurance a plus
• High degree of organization and attention to detail
• Comfortable working in a fluid environment, managing fluctuating priorities
• Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and drive internal & external decisions
• Able to travel up to 10%
• Supply Chain related certifications a plus
