Role Summary

If you are interested in a dynamic, client-facing, continuous improvement-oriented role in a world class business environment, then our Supply Chain Optimization Manager role is for you. As the Supply Chain Optimization Manager you will have the freedom to think strategically and contribute to the direction of the Supplier Value Creation program. You will collaborate with clients' senior leaders, technical experts, and plant floor operators to identify process improvement opportunities and develop comprehensive initiatives to deliver cost savings and reductions in core working capital.

To achieve these goals, you will coach client teams to build capabilities and ensure lasting change and manage relationships with a diverse group of cross-functional stakeholders to achieve project objectives, deliver critical metrics, influence change, and drive operational excellence.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct analyses of end-to-end supply chains (including those of our breweries, our suppliers, and external parties) using Lean Six Sigma methodologies and our internal management system (VPO).
  • Synthesize findings to reveal cost savings opportunities for clients.
  • Design extensive action plans to address identified gaps and provide the pathway for site teams to realize positive and sustainable results.
  • Capture voice of the customer to understand client goals and develop improvement hypotheses to guide your analysis.
  • Leverage your technical knowledge and leadership ability to support site and category teams in delivering opportunities.
  • Lead client teams through training sessions and workshops on lean six sigma tools to enable the improvement opportunities to be realized.
  • Use your project management skills and business acumen to track project execution and savings delivery.
  • Think big and be a contributor to the program's strategy development and growth.
  • Manage cross-functional relationships internally and externally to obtain stakeholder buy-in and ensure alignment with project direction.
  • Collaborate with internal and external, local and offsite experts, to thoroughly understand client strengths and opportunities.
  • Integrate into the clients' teams and become immersed in the process to gain first-hand insight into opportunities and constraints.
  • Convey operational and organizational gaps in a client's organization as opportunities to a wide range of stakeholders, from senior executives to plant floor operators.
  • Teach, coach, guide, and lead clients' teams through the analyses to build capabilities for sustainable change.



Job Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a business, supply chain, engineering, or technical field
  • 3+ years' experience (5+ preferred) in any of the following areas: operations management, consulting, process optimization, supply chain, demand planning
  • Strong business acumen and analytical problem-solving skills
  • Background in data analysis and/or statistics
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to distill complex issues into concise messages for senior leadership
  • Strong influence skills
  • Ability to travel up to 40% of the time

Preferred Qualifications

  • Project management experience
  • Previous leadership experience strongly preferred
  • Client-facing experience and/or relationship-building skills
  • MBA or relevant master's degree
  • Practical knowledge of Lean Six Sigma
  • Experience in process improvement efforts and/or value stream analysis
  • Ability to think strategically and creatively
