Position description

As a Supply Chain Operations Manager at Intel, you will be responsible for converting manufacturing service, materials, and spares business requirements into actionable strategies and tactics as they relate to install, qualification, and sustaining of factory equipment.

As the Supply Chain Operations Manager, you will be responsible for but not limited to:

  • Coordinating purchasing activities such as generating, managing, and reconciling forecasts and schedules.
  • Monitoring the forecast for materials and service acquisition in support of ramping factories, sustaining factories and technology transitions.
  • Managing supply chain requirements across the process life cycle to ensure the lowest total cost, highest quality performance, availability of materials requirements, and managing supplier and supply chain safety and sustainability requirements.
  • Ensuring performance to contractual requirements as well as meeting with suppliers to discuss performance, cost opportunities, equipment performance, and future operational strategies.
  • Partnering with the factories to drive the lowest possible materials and service impact to tool availability.
  • Assessing appropriate inventory and service schedules to support factory SLA's and quality requirements.
  • Participating in the development and improvement of systems and tools to drive efficiencies across the organization.
  • Working with cross organizational teams to solve problems and drive supply chain solutions.
  • Being the face of the supply chain face to NMDM factory staff and driving continuous improvement across key performance requirements/metrics.
  • Developing key supply chain messages and metrics that align with factory requirements.

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. *This position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.

Minimum Qualifications:

The candidate must possess at least one of the following degrees plus the years of experience determined for each degree in the areas specified below:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business or related field of study with 6+ years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Supply Chain certifications.
  • Stakeholder Management/Customer Orientation experience.
    • Contract negotiations and administration experience.
    • Inventory Management, Contracts, and Forecasting experience.
    • Supplier Management experience.

Work Model for this Role
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
