Description

Fluidra is seeking a Supply Chain Manager who engages in the design, planning, execution, control, and supervision of supply chain activities with the objectives of creating net value, building a competitive infrastructure, leveraging worldwide logistics, synchronizing supply with demand, new product introduction and measuring performance globally".

This position will be based at our North American Headquarters in Carlsbad, CA.

WHAT YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE

  • Develops appropriate supply chain strategy to maximize customer satisfaction at the right cost.
  • Leads the supply chain team in executing best practices and measuring performance through agreed upon Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function
  • Directs and coordinates global supply chain functions through strategy, resource optimization, profitability maximization, and KPIs resulting in the maximization of customer satisfaction.
  • Plans, manages, and coordinates all activities related to supply part of necessary materials and supplies needed to meet the changing levels of product demand.
  • Works with plant, warehouse, and logistics departments to determine and set up intercompany transfers.
  • Works directly with Demand Management and Logistics to determine most cost-effective distribution solution for finished goods transportation to customers.
  • Monitors and corrects inventory levels at outside warehouses (3PL) and internally to ensure rotation and maximize working capital.
  • Collaborate with Logistics team to find transportation companies to set best route, rates, best practices, and freight consolidation.
  • Strong New Product Introduction skills to manage different category products projects at a time.
  • Supports and educate the team to a proper utilization of ERP system and planning tools.
  • Lead the monthly Supply Review meeting responsible to routinely report on department KPIs along with appropriate analysis and countermeasures where necessary.
  • Represents the Supply Chain team in the NPD projects for a specific category of products
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Ensure the Purchasing department operates below or within the financial operating budget established.
  • Responsible for planning, developing, and buying materials, parts, supplies and equipment's in a timely and cost-effective way, while maintaining appropriate quality standards and specifications.



WHAT WE SEEK

  • 5+ years of supply chain, logistics, or warehouse management experience
  • High agility, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, maintain focus, and adapt to a variety of challenges
  • Ability to conduct detailed procedures in a time constrained environment
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong sense of time organization and urgency
  • Able to work independently and within a team
  • Critical thinking and Problem-solving expert
  • Manufacturing and cross dock operation experience
  • Experience leading high performer teams.
  • APICS CPIM Certification, good to have
  • Leadership trainings


EDUCATION

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain/Logistics, or equivalent experience
