Raytheon is looking for an experienced Supply Chain Manager (SCM) to support the Advanced Products Center (APC) factory. In this role, the selected candidate will need to be a strong leader with demonstrated project management skills and be directly accountable for ensuring overall supplier performance. This is an individual contributor role, but you must be able to exert influence and have an effect on the overall objectives and long-range goals of the program and/or Integrated Product Team (IPT). This role requires a self-starter, capable of developing and achieving organizational and program objectives, and must be able to successfully interface with all levels of internal management, including supplier management.

The SCM shall have financial, contracting, and negotiating experience and have had project management responsibilities. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Managing Risk and Opportunity, briefings in customer forums, and work in cross-functional teams

Developing and executing supply chain strategies and plans

Creating, managing, and executing material program strategy (MPS) and the material program plan (MPP)

Providing comprehensive Supply Chain support for Gates 0-11 activities and ensuring compliance for the programs and tailoring when applicable.

Having overall ownership of the supplier management process including supplier performance, SCM metrics, Make/Buy Where strategy, strategic agreements, and communication of customer flow through requirements such as FAR/DFARS, ITAR, offset, public law, quality, warranty, etc.

Developing and leading supply chain proposal activities including task descriptions and basis of estimates

Identifying and developing opportunities for small business participation

Monitoring and proactively addressing performance and financial metrics including those related to cost, schedule, quality, and EVMS.

Developing and tracking budgets, targets, working capital, initiating and maintaining accurate sales forecasts, short-range outlooks (SRO), material EACs, sales and operating Plans and Annual Operating Plans (AOP).

Acting as the Control Account Manager (CAM) for material.

Required Skills:

Minimum of 8 years of supply chain, project/program management, and/or related experience in the Aerospace, Defense, or commercial industries

Experience supporting/leading proposal efforts

Experience with Supplier management and/or Subcontract management

Experience with supply chain and related systems, procurement, MRP, receiving, cost estimating, and finance

Experience translating customer terms and conditions into supplier requirements and reviewing statements of work for completeness and conformance to program requirements

Experience in managing technical requirements to a schedule and budget

Experience making presentations (verbal and/or written) to key stakeholders

Experience interfacing with all levels of internal management

Negotiation experience

Experience working in an Integrated Product Team (IPT) environment

Experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Power Point)

Desired Skills:

Experience collaborating with the Subcontracts to develop Supplier Statements of Work (SSOWs) and Task Descriptions

Experience implementing continuous improvement, Six Sigma or Lean methodologies/principals

Experience with SAP

Working knowledge of US Government acquisition laws and regulations (FAR/DFARS, ITAR, EAR)

CAM Experience for Material Estimate at Complete (EACs) and Material Forecasting

Experience in procurement, production control, or finance

Working knowledge of US Government acquisition laws and regulations (FAR/DFARS, ITAR, EAR)

Experiencing aligning design needs with best in class suppliers

U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will require the ability to access US only data systems

Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience
