WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for a Studio Director for our Global Consumer Direct Studios at WHQ in Beaverton, Oregon! We need someone to drive and lead ways of working within this team. The person in this role is responsible for managing overall project team health, ensuring effective, efficient, and timely delivery according to Nike's daily, seasonal and long-term marketing objectives.

A strategic, highly organized, results-driven, and expert at both managing and tracking creative projects and organizational management. This person balances the tactical needs of creative delivery with the soft skills required to orchestrate, mentor, and encourage their team.
WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?
As Studio Director, you will be the strategic partner to the Design and Writing leads and responsible for prioritizing and resourcing team projects, ensuring that workstreams are adequately supported and that individuals are getting rest & recovery. You will have topline knowledge of the status and health of all projects in the studio. You are a seasoned problem-solver and will work to mitigate project risks and elevate to leadership when needed. You will work in close partnership with tother studio leads to build out, track & socialize the review and delivery cadence of projects within your studios.
WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH?
You will report directly to the Studio Director, Consumer Direct Studios lead. You'll also partner closely with Studio Managers along with the Design team and Writing team to ensure work is appropriately managed between your teams and with outside partners. Your primary cross-functional partners include Consumer Direct Marketing, Global Brand Creative Production, Brand Management, Business Affairs, and Finance.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING?

  • Bachelor's Degree or combination of relevant education, experience, and training.
  • A committed personal passion for storytelling; and the ambition to use it to change how we live our lives.
  • Motivation and desire to make sport a daily habit for athletes around the globe.
  • Expertise in the real-world demands of delivering creative service to brand marketing.
  • 10 years in fields directly related to creative team oversight, production, and project management.
  • Direct experience as a manager of managers, with proven success across a variety of challenging managerial scenarios.
  • A strong ability to problem-solve and find creative solutions.
  • An ability to see and understand how individual workstreams connect to and support larger brand and business strategies.
  • The temperament of a leader: flexible, resilient, empathetic, and right, a lot.
  • This role sits on-site in a hybrid capacity at WHQ in Beaverton, OR.
