JOB SUMMARY
The Advanced Strategy and Process Activation Manager is a hands-on, high visibility role that will require a strong focus on relationship building to lead process development from ideation to completion. Reporting to the Sr. Manager of Advanced Strategy & Process Activation, the ideal candidate will be responsible for evolving & converging our Linear, Advanced TV and Digital business through the continued development of our processes, specifically through automation and workflow improvements. In this role, the ideal candidate will define best practices to optimize workflow and create processes that can be replicated for all projects and will ultimately accelerate future state initiatives. Making user-experience a critical requirement, the candidate will partner with stakeholders across the company to create best-in-class processes in line with key company initiatives.
This role will focus on the workflow development and process activation of scalable and cutting-edge solutions for clients in order to maximize the use of the Spectrum Reach's powerful data and media product offerings across all sales channels; local, regional, national.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Requires a solution focused drive toward innovation by identifying process improvement opportunities, key issues and implementation plans supported with ability to provide business intelligence analysis.
  • Must have a holistic focus with an eye on the details.
  • Drive process development across strategic initiatives.
  • Lead effective, productive meetings and facilitate complex discussions to drive for clarity around initiatives and scope of work.
  • Drive business process changes necessary to simplify and optimize workflow end to end across the organization.
  • Ability to listen to multiple points of view and synthesize against goals for recommendations.
  • Results-oriented with a demonstrated sense of urgency to drive multiple projects to successful completion.
  • Critical thinker who can anticipate roadblocks and proactively address issues before they impact business results.
  • Balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines/milestones.


Functional Partnership responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with key stakeholders across Advanced & Local Sales, Client Success, Operations, Product Activation, Product Development, Learning, PMO, Finance and other business units to ensure that the overall process and workflow is working towards a unified strategy.
  • Manage process planning and development through day to day collaboration and decision making with cross-functional teams.
  • Play active role in optimization and process improvements between product and development teams.
  • Share and ensure training materials for sales support and cross functional partners are applicable for implementation needs and ongoing cross platform development in coordination with learning team and local leadership teams
  • Support sales plan activation & ROI's


Monitoring of Progress, Deliverables and Future State Opportunities

  • Identify, assess and scope process opportunities, driving new feature development from conception to launch and optimization.
  • Proactively identify potential gaps or threats to process and be able to resolve threats to help build a sustainable process.
  • Ensure clear communication of workflow scope, timing, prioritization, resource needs and progress on an ongoing basis.
  • Provide competitive analysis and strategic approach to compete.
  • Identify new opportunities, best practices, sales channels and product offerings.
  • Ensure that SR is entering new marketplaces and leveraging data and product offerings to retain and grow the core linear business.


Internal Partnership Responsibilities:

  • Build and execute on strategies and initiatives that drive positive sales results and ensure success in achieving company's business objectives.
  • Develop a high-energy culture that fosters success, enthusiasm, and a winning atmosphere.
  • Ensure that the local and national Spectrum Reach Sales and Client Success team members are fluent in all Spectrum Reach data and product offerings.
  • Research customer requirements and expectations and include responses and solutions in product planning and marketing strategy.


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ Years of process and workflow development experience, ideally with experience supporting media solutions across multiple products.
  • Ideal candidate has 1+ years of leading high performing teams focused on multiscreen advertising campaigns including television, digital media, data informed advertising and programmatic media sales along with previous experience incorporating these attributes into effective workflows and processes
  • Must demonstrate a success in supporting the revenue goal achievement and year over year growth of multiscreen advertising campaigns, which include traditional media, digital and programmatic competitors such as Facebook, Google, etc.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work cross functionally to develop effective solutions, processes and workflow implementations in support of multiscreen advertising sales solutions
  • Must be a proactive and a constant learner with regards to advanced advertising, multi-screen solutions and a history of keeping in front of the ever changing advertising landscape.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Experience launching new processes or workflows to an enterprise sales organization a strong plus
  • A thought leader and an early adopter of emerging products
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism with clients and staff
  • A Bachelor's or Master's Degree is preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Willingness and ability to travel as required up to 20%
  • Valid driver's license, satisfactory driving record within Company required standards, and auto insurance
