Strategy and Operations Manager, Go-To-Market
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- 5 years of experience developing business plans and go-to-market strategies
- 3 years of experience in strategy and/or operations consulting
Preferred qualifications:
- MBA or advanced degree
- Experience in strategic consulting, sales support, and market research
- Experience building relationships with stakeholders
- Experience in spreadsheet and presentation software
- Ability to successfully navigate and influence within a complex business environment
- Excellent business acumen and communication/facilitation skills

The Strategy and Operations team provides business critical insights by using analytics, ensuring cross-functional alignment of goals and execution, and helping teams drive strategic partnerships and initiatives forward. Our team stays focused on aligning company priorities with effective day-to-day operations, and helps evolve early stage ideas into growth initiatives. In this role, you will partner with our Industry Director and lead sector-wide and/or national projects to improve the operations of the Large Customer Sales organization.
The Go-to-Market Operations (GtM) team ensures Google's complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting go-to-market strategy, and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy. We have teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as global teams that work across the business areas. Team members are analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the Industry Director and Heads of Industry to develop business plans and go-to-market strategies.
- Drive operational logistics, including optimizing resource allocation across groups, measuring progress, identifying opportunities to improve performance and goals, and facilitating weekly management meetings.
- Identify opportunities to improve Sales team efficiencies and lead efforts to scale best practices.
- Participate in and help drive global initiatives, ensuring proper rollout.
