Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience working in a Strategy and Operations role in technology, management consulting, banking, or internal corporate strategy.
  • Experience with productivity, cloud-based tools (e.g. Google Workspace), or equivalent tools.



Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA or Master's degree.
  • Experience and comfort with large datasets, synthesizing insights, and recommending actions from data.
  • Experience with or at large enterprise organizations, managing internal stakeholders, and presenting to executives and technical management teams.
  • Experience planning and managing at both the strategic and operational level.
  • Ability to be successful in a complex, globally-scaled product, sales, and engineering environment.
  • Distinctive analytical and problem solving skills; comfort working in a fast growing, dynamic, and ambiguous environment.

The Google Cloud Go-to-Market Strategy and Operations organization partners with the Google Cloud Sales and Google Cloud Customer Experience organizations in developing go-to-market strategies, providing business critical insights using analytics, ensuring cross-functional alignment of goals and execution, and helping teams drive strategic partnerships and new initiatives forward. We stay focused on aligning the highest-level company priorities with day-to-day operations, and help evolve early stage ideas into future-growth initiatives.

As a Strategy and Operations Manager, you will be aligned to the Google Cloud Customer Success organization, which is a strategic pillar under the Google Cloud Customer Experience function. You will be primarily focused on acting as a business strategy and operational business partner supporting the leadership team. You will enjoy working with data, complete strategic planning and analysis, and help run the core business processes.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Customer Success leadership team to analyze customer trends, develop go-to-market strategies, and build global coverage/deployment plans.
  • Manage the day-to-day operational activities around the Customer Success compensation plan including coordinating, analyzing, and reporting.
  • Support the launch and growth of the Customer Success team by helping to define the long-term strategy, systems, people, and process infrastructure.
  • Manage core business operations activities such as business planning, headcount management and finance/budget tracking.
  • Be the key point person for the creation of monthly and quarterly business reviews, planning off-sites, and executive briefings on the status of the organization's performance.
