The SEC team will drive end-to-end integration across hundreds of business processes, using a flexible and scalable Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system and best-of-breed technology solutions that support the retail experience of the future.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for someone who will demonstrate their experience in retail planning, inventory allocation, supply planning, supply deployment planning, liquidation inventory forecasting, digital product implementation and analytics! Your background in understanding the NIKE Direct business or other retail environments will be the key to demonstrating new and existing technical as well as analytic solutions, and you will work in close collaboration with business teams and product management leaders.

We're looking for a SEC DSM Capability Business Director for Multi-Node Planning and Inventory Forecasting.

This role provides thought leadership to the program for Demand & Supply Management across global product, retail business, category and geography. Identifies and resolves sophisticated technical, operational and organizational problems related to Inventory Planning, Shaping, Netting and Deployment. In addition, it will work on Inventory Forecasting as part of the connectivity to our new ERP. Finally the role will collaborate across the SEC program to ensure that DSM capabilities are aligned to the overall Solution that SEC will deliver to the Geography in line with our program guidelines and goals.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
As our SEC DSM Capability Business Director for Multi-Node Planning and Inventory Forecasting, you will partner with DSM Product Management, Demand Management, Supply Planning, Inventory Operations and other members of the Global and Geo Operations leadership team to craft, influence and complete the strategy and vision for work to build the company's future technology. You will make decisions guided by functional business plans that impact the support and funding of projects, products, services and/or technologies. You are responsible for actions and leading risks that have shared or moderate impact on the project and program timelines and deliverables.

This role will collaborate with collaborators to bring products to life. Remove obstacles and help align the organization to achieve success. You will clearly articulate the product roadmap, vision, priorities and requirements to multiple collaborators in both written and oral formats. Collect and incorporate feedback from a diverse range of collaborators including digital, technology, engineering, analytics, platform, business, and legal teams.
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
As our DSM Capability Business Lead, for Multi-Node Planning and Inventory Forecasting you will partner with DSM Product Management, Demand Management, Supply Planning, Inventory Operations and other members of the Global and Geo Operations leadership team to craft, influence and complete the strategy and vision for work to build the company's future technology. You will also work with our partners in Global and Geo Operations and Logistics to build the future technology. You will partner with the Global and in-Geography functional teams to collaboration and communication to support business objectives. Partner with Technology, Engineering, Design, Analytics, Business, Consultants and Product Management leaders throughout completion of achievements to deliver optimal results in line with customer needs.

You will lead multidisciplinary teams and enable success by removing obstacles and developing strategic relationships throughout the business. Champion and develop diverse talent within direct reporting team to enhance performance and results.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Bachelor's degree or combination of relevant education, experience, and training
  • 8 years' retail planning, demand, supply or inventory leadership and business process experience
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience leading or managing people
  • Proven track record of driving results across large, diverse, globally decentralized teams
  • Clear, concise and persuasive communication style that compels to action.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including meeting facilitation and presentations. Attention to detail.
  • Exceptional data analytics and articulation skills
  • Exceptional influencing skills, with experience engaging diverse set of cross-functional collaborators
  • Ability to lead impactful, cross-functional teams
  • Hands-on understanding of Nike supply chain planning and business processes preferred
  • Knowledge of digital and physical retail planning, merchandising, allocation, and operational processes a plus.
