About the team:

Research has been central to our product development and business strategy since the very beginning—and our team continues to grow, along with our user base and product. Working in the research team at Robinhood, you'll help us systematically understand how people interact with financial products and how they think and feel about money.

The Research Program Manager will be the driving force behind the development, execution, and continuous improvement of Robinhood's Research strategy. This person will shepherd overall processes by managing workflows, communicating roadblocks, and continuously keeping the pulse on ways to improve the team's operations. They will partner with Research leadership to develop and implement roadmaps and goals for our team.

What you’ll do day-to-day:
  • Work with key collaborators in leadership to establish annual, quarterly, and monthly strategic priorities and facilitate workflows advancing them
  • Lead important cross-functional projects and pivotal initiatives within the Research organization and as a partner to other cross-functional organizations
  • Responsible for championing and stewarding the culture of our Research team - ensuring that their unique voices, perspectives, and challenges are heard
  • In partnership with the Director of Research and Research People Partner, create and complete a people strategy that is aligned with business goals and proactively grows, develops and engages our talent.
  • Design scalable processes and organizational structures to support Robinhood’s rapid growth and ensure the highest quality of execution
  • Identify and implement initiatives that move Research OKRs; partnering with cross-functional teams to increase operational effectiveness, reduce risk, and drive company-wide change
  • Collaborate with leaders across the company to identify key drivers and recommend data-driven actions to drive operational quality, scalability, and efficiency
  • Scoping ambiguous problems into concrete projects, mentoring and developing junior team members
About you:
  • Program Management: Support sophisticated programs, align scope with cross functional partners and present results to team members
  • Navigating Ambiguity: Distill complex business problems into their core elements and prioritize work that helps Robinhood Research improve and grow.
  • Proven and demonstrated experience at a top-tier management consulting firm and/or experience in a Business Operations, Product, Operations Strategy, or a cross-functional operational role at a technology company
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to develop strong working relationships
  • Exceptional written and communication skills
  • Resourcefulness, persistence, and ability to thrive in fast paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • Ability to work autonomously with a strong sense of ownership
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, prioritize and juggle multiple projects
  • Nice-to-have: Lean six-sigma or similar certifications
Bonus points:
  • Masters, MBA, or PhD in Psychology, Anthropology, Sociology, Behavioral Economics, or similar
  • Knowledge of product research
  • Experience working in finance, tech, or high-growth startups
  • Passion for working and learning in a fast-growing company
