The DTC Technology Senior Manager is responsible for developing the technology roadmap for the DTC business and manages the technology resources (both internal and external) supporting the DTC technology platforms. You will be capable of building a technology roadmap, while taking into consideration the current eCommerce platforms in place and the best-in-class solutions in the marketplace. This will be a multi-year roadmap that accounts for growth and scalability of the business. This career offers growth, tremendous visibility in the organization, and will work across many organizations within Nestle Purina.

Primary Responsibilities

• Cultivate a deep understanding of day-to-day e-commerce domain expertise while leading a cross-functional agile team and focusing on delivering value to Purina's consumers
• Develop, own, and maintain the technology roadmap for the eCommerce core platform
• Staff and lead a cross-functional, full-stack engineering team responsible for the architecture and performance of our e-commerce applications
• Drives down technology cost by promoting reuse and componentization
• Provides technical leadership for the solution and design of key projects, promoting simplicity, and right-size scale of solutions
• Validates the quality of technology deployed across the portfolio and is empowered to intervene and provide direction
• Ensures Operational Readiness of solutions by conducting technical reviews to assure that implementations align with initial solution
• Act as a liaison to the segment and organization technology teams and facilitates various forums that promote collaboration and knowledge sharing
• Maintains high levels of technical knowledge through ongoing research and development activities
• Drive technical initiatives to build clean, robust, maintainable, and performant systems
• Crafting a thoughtful, long-term technical strategy that anticipates future needs.
• Achieve on-time delivery while defending the integrity of the codebase, never compromising on code quality
• Identify cross-functional dependencies and remove blockers when needed across engineering, design, and product management.

Basic Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of work experience in information systems, business administration or related field
• 5+ years of software development experience
• Must be able to travel 10% or as business needs

Preferred

• 4+ years of leadership experience in technology management preferred
• 2+ years D2C/eCommerce experience preferred
