Sr Supply Chain Systems Specialist

The Challenge
Our Fulfillment team is seeking a Senior Supply Chain Systems Specialist who will work across the business Value Stream. This will include Fulfillment, Warehousing, Distribution, Manufacturing, Sourcing, Marketing, Sales, Product Management, Digital Technology (DT) and Finance teams to implement business-critical process and system improvements in the areas of Order Management, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Availability/Inventory Allocation, Deployment and S&OP.
This is a project-focused role that will provide exposure to leadership within Distribution, Fulfillment, Product Management, and DT and is a great opportunity to develop as a star and to make a direct impact on our Hoshin goals and customers.

What you will Do

  • Head up the Value Stream improvement projects that impact customers, delivery metrics, service, inventory/cash and sales.
  • Identify, define, root cause, test solutions, influence stakeholders, implement solutions, develop control plan, document training
  • Identify and drive process improvement projects and areas of waste after launch
  • Define and implement improved reporting mechanisms to support and sustain process changes
  • Business Process Owner/Execution Leader for Fulfillment on ERP projects.
  • Define requirements, test system changes, validate signals, develop training, train end-users and roll-out of Oracle modules to replace legacy applications. Follow up with regular enhancements to system leading to exception-based processes.
  • Provide leadership, business education, planning & execution of program for ERP in areas of Deployment, GOP, Mabe, SFG and National Accounts OM.
  • Become skilled in all fulfillment processes and systems - Legacy and Oracle based. Coach, mentor and provide guidance to all PFMs, CFMs and deployers around systems, tools and processes.
  • Provide the first line of defense for any system outage or process inefficiencies for assigned systems, including communication of issue and resolution to users.
  • Develop expertise in fulfillment systems including Demantra, ASCP, DRP, Inventory Optimization, Safety Stock, Oracle Analytics reporting.
  • Maintain all SOPs and train users on new systems.

Position Requirement

  • Demonstrated ability to influence and build consensus with users.
  • Demonstrated ability to autonomously develop, manage and implement proactive project plans while working with IT counterparts (on and offshore), other functions, consultants and end users.
  • Excellent communication skills with proven ability to effectively communicate across functions and at all levels of the organization.
  • Exceptional statistical skills; demonstrated experience with data analysis and using big data.
  • Ability to take input from multiple functions and perspectives and translate it into an actionable plan while reconciling and integrating vying interests.
  • Understands big picture and aligns priorities with broader goals, measures outcomes, uses feedback to change as needed, evaluates alternatives, solutions-oriented, seeks alternatives and broad input; can see connections within complex issues.
  • Demonstrates initiative and takes action proactively- possess the ability to take actions before they are necessary.
  • Sound problem solving, analytic, and project management skills. Goal-oriented and proactive in problem-solving, coupled with creativity and a high energy level.
  • Dynamic interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's in Business, Engineering or related field.
  • 5 years of Supply Chain/Operations experience within at least two different Supply Chain related functions.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Oracle Value Chain Planning modules- Advanced Supply Chain Planner, *Inventory Optimization, Demantra, Global Order Promising and EBS modules- Order *Management, Inventory, PIM, Purchasing
  • Microsoft Access or SQL experience
  • Masters or better in Business or related field.
  • 7 years: Supply Chain/Operations experience with at least two different Supply Chain related functions, including *Fulfillment.
  • Experience with Lean methodologies.
  • Graduate of the Supply Chain Development Programs
