Job Summary:

This position is designed to coordinate and drive medium to long range forecasting of component level demand to our supply base and internal functional groups such as Purchasing for the purpose of improved demand visibility and communication to selected functions. Another important aspects of the job is to support operation in demand-supply constraints management.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate all activities with the 3 NA PSS product lines (seat belt / inflatable restraints / steering wheel systems) to develop and generate medium-term (12 month) and long-term (5 year) plans material demand forecasts and provide resulting information to functional departments and management reporting.
• Work closely with Plant Operations, Engineering, Product Management and Purchasing to align medium and long-term material forecasts with proper demand forecast to product configurations (Bill of Materials) current and future to generate desired material forecasts.
• Development and maintenance of RPT system (Resource Planning Tool).
• Continuous maintenance of demand forecast to product confirmation(s) mapping maintenance with RPT for NA PSS.
• Cross-check and align master data in withing various systems: SAP, MAD, RPT, BQT, Windchill, PIS2, PPT, etc. to insure a high degree of alignment and quality.
• Consult different functions: Sales, Supply Chain and Logistics, Finance, Engineering, Product Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Marketing, Purchasing, etc. to develop intended forecast(s).
• Test and validate RPT long range forecast.
• Standardize and improve RPT mapping process.
• Manage and execute various demand scenarios based on business desires and/or changing conditions and develop simulations that correlate to future expected needs within desired scenarios.
• Managing supply constraints and crisis by analyzing regional/ global supply - demand, material allocation and coordination of supplies.
• Generate monthly medium-term forecasting results, comparisons and analysis. Investigate anomalies or inconsistencies with plan vs forecast and resolve.
• Close collaboration and cooperation in RPT development and forecast alignment with other PSS regions and participating personnel in Europe and Asia.
• Assist or manage demand evaluation against known supply base capacities utilizing various other data repositories such as PIS and report/alert the organization of any questionable or concerning conditions.
• Other related duties relevant to providing material demand(s), analysis, product configuration identification resolution and demand forecast quality problem solving.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Logistics/Business/Engineering
• Requires 5+ years of progressive related experience.
• Prefer 3 years' experience in ZF; one product line knowledge related to customers and product line product configurations.
• Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.
• Experience in capacity management.
• Experience required in data analytics and large data processing.
• Proven success in collaborative, team-oriented environment.
• Assertiveness, target-oriented and structured working methods.
• Excellent computer skills is MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI) and SAP required.
• Ability to travel as required to fulfill this function.
