Sr Supply Chain Program Manager, Last Mile
Our Opportunity:
Chewy is hiring a Sr. Program Manager - Last Mile, a newly created role. This role is within the Last Mile Transportation team and will report to the Associate Director, Transportation. This individual will be responsible for the oversight and performance of a segment of Chewy’s Last Mile transportation partner carriers. You will use quantitative and qualitative customer data to uncover key insights that drive network strategy and enhancements. The ideal candidate has shown success in diving deep, attention to detail, and continuous improvement.
You will be successful in this role because you are passionate about problem solving, operating cross functionally, and building mutually beneficial relationships. You also excel in understanding how to find, analyze, and apply data in all your decision making.
What you will do:
- The successful candidate will review and develop meaningful KPIs for the Chewy carrier base
- Root cause misses to carrier metrics like Late Delivery %, Concessions and Cost
- Exhibit a strong sense of ownership, bias for action, and communication skills; be willing to roll up your sleeves to get the job done
- Have a passion for delivering an industry leading customer experience
- Utilize data to understand carrier performance and trends as well as business objectives; transform those insights into clear actions to improve the overall customer experience
- Monitor performance of your program(s) and measure impact of enhancements; communicate impact clearly across the organization and use to drive prioritization
- Work with Transportation and Operations to bridge technology gaps to improve service to Chewy’s customers
- Have a passion for delivering an industry leading customer experience
What you will need:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business plus 3-5 years management experience in a transportation, logistics, warehouse, or distribution center environment.
- Strong analytical skills including SQL and Advanced Excel, including the ability to pull data and use it to identify and solve ambiguous problems
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
- Demonstrated ability to think big and influence across all levels of an organization
- Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results
- Superior professional writing and communication skills
- Successful delivery of technology solutions
- E-commerce background a plus
