Position Summary

As a Senior Specialist you will be a member of the Customer Facing Supply Chain Team and focused on driving cost-effective efficiencies to deliver business value within NPPC's Supply Chain. Primary focuses will include identifying opportunities within the supply chain and creating cross-functional processes to drive service levels, KPI's and category distribution. The ideal candidate will possess strong verbal and written communication skills, having the ability to tell a story with data, driving insight to action. You will also be tasked with partnering with supply chain leadership on providing scope and direction regarding departmental projects designed to improve the full supply chain lifecycle. This position will sit either at Nestle Purina St. Louis, MO headquarters or at our Eden Prairie, MN field office. Must be open to frequent travel between both locations.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Develop business solutions utilizing a variety of technological tools (Business Objects, SAP Reporting, Power Business Intelligence).
  • Plan and implement supply chain optimization projects, coordinating with multiple departments within NPPC.
  • Partner with external customer counterparts on finding improvements within the supply chain model which are mutually beneficial to both NPPC & Customer.
  • Provide recommendations to NPPC leadership on opportunities identified within the supply chain model.
  • Mentor and train personnel in trend analysis, cost-effectiveness and customer engagement within customer facing.


Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field
  • 2+ years' experience of supply chain, order life-cycle management, business analyst or related role
  • Experience using Business Objects, Power Business Intelligence, Trade Management Tool (TMT), Service Pricing and Microsoft Office Tools preferred
