Job Description As appointed lead of the security architecture team you will collaborate with leaders of infrastructure, technology, engineering, data and functional architecture. You will deliver solutions in matter of security of architecture and design in partnership with information security/risk managers and chief business technology leaders. Being embedded within Enterprise & Architecture organization you will have the chance to spearhead and lead the efforts of passionate and dedicated teams of security architects, aligning cross-functional and cross-line of business projects, ensuring that new cloud based applications are designed in manner that is complaint with JPMC's security technology standards and control policies.
You'll also have a stake in mentoring other managers on matters related to cloud security, document security guidance for designing and implementing secure applications and authoritative decisions for adoption of security controls for specific use cases. You will have the opportunity to promote process improvements in the various types of processes that are owned by the security architecture team such cloud security architecture design review processes, security architecture reviews of vendors in scope for technical due diligence, targeted cyber-risks assessments and cyber-security training for expert security engineers. You'll be able to drive proactive consulting engagement(s) to provide guidance in matters of security architecture and design in collaboration with technologists across JPMorgan Chase & Co.'s global technology community and fostering a client-centric environment where everyone learns and grows.
This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:

• BS/BA degree or equivalent experience in the security architecture domain
• Seasoned expertise in application security and infrastructure security architecture disciplines
• Mastery of secure architecture design to drive the adoption of security controls such as authentication, authorization and encryption for protection of confidential data
• Experience in applying standard compliance, applying governance and managing risks
• Familiarity with software security standards, methodologies and security testing tools
• Experience in using architecture review processes such as threat modeling/architectural risk analysis to identify security design gaps in existing and proposed architectures and recommend changes or enhancements
• Familiarity of foundational cloud security controls and different types of cloud architectures such as SaaS, IaaS, CaaS and FaaS and deployments models in public cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP and Azure
• Familiarity with design patterns for the security of APIs and microservice based architectures
• Prior experience in large scale technical delivery
• Ability to identity solutions that solve large scale and complex security challenges at architectural level
• Ability to collaborate with the product teams and engineers to understand and develop solutions that meet compliance requirements while aligning with the cyber-security strategy
• Ability to lead discussions in a matrix environment focusing on common goals and leading collaborative teams to achieve common goals
• Ability to represent E&A security architecture in various forums across the firm
• Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
