Fluidra is seeking a Sr. Quality Testing Technician to join the team at our CMP location in Newnan, GA.

WHAT YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE 

  • Setup and test parts in accordance to engineering specifications.
  • Perform dimensional verification of sample parts.
  • Record results in Excel and or PowerPoint software.
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedure and Work Instruction documents while performing maintenance and assembly procedures.
  • Conduct failure analysis of Customer Returns. Draft reports for review by Engineering, Quality and Manufacturing.
  • Assist in cross functional problem solving process to drive closed loop issues resolution for our Customers.
  • Provide input and constructive feedback to design staff regarding new and existing equipment to streamline troubleshooting and service requirements and to increase product quality.
  • Maintain continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
  • Adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments.
  • Detect problem sources by observing mechanical devices in operation and performing root cause analysis.
  • Demonstrate behaviors consistent with the CMP Core Values.
  • Practice safe working habits, follow all CMP safety policies, perform safety checks on equipment and systems, and identify, correct, and reports potential safety hazards.
  • Achieve internal auditor certification and perform internal audits per established schedule
  • Maintain basic housekeeping standards utilizing 5S methodology
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

WHAT WE SEEK

  • Able to read blueprints/drawings and interpret using GD&T.
  • Use small hand tools, precision measuring instruments and torque test equipment.
  • Problem solving skills.
  • Minimum High School education, with 2 years post graduate or certificates.
  • Minimum 4 years of Manufacturing, Quality experience.
  • Adaptability to performing under stress when confronted with emergent, critical, unusual, or dangerous situations, or situation in which working speed and sustained attention are make-or-break aspects of the job.
  • Adaptability to performing a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another without loss of efficiency or composure.
  • Adaptability to accepting responsibility for the direction, control or planning of an activity.
  • Ability to maintain both a high standard of courtesy and cooperation in dealing with co-workers.
  • Adaptability to situations requiring the precise attainment of set limits, tolerances or standards.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT

 

While performing the duties of this job, employees are regularly required to stand for long periods of time and work throughout a manufacturing plant as well as an office setting.
