Responsibilities
- Job Summary
Responsible for creating, informing, and evolving the Company's Operational Strategy through perpetual research, holistic analytics, cross-departmental partnerships, and influential communication. Ensures that Operational and Company Leadership is equipped with the insights needed to make steering decisions influencing both near and long-term strategy.
Responsibilities
- Develop meaningful insights and recommendations through data driven analysis to aid Company Executives and business partners through our most complex and challenging problems
- Work alongside subject matter experts from any Southwest Department (particularly Operations) to develop and execute strategies in support of the Company's Operational Strategic Plan
- Facilitate strategic discussions and presentations, at all levels of the organization, often with individuals/Teams with competing objectives that result in direction that best fulfills our Operational/Commercial Strategy
- Develop comprehensive models and business cases that are understanding of holistic Operational and Commercial impacts, ensuring the full scope and impact is understood
- Provide support and mentorship to less experienced peers internally/externally, particularly focusing on thought-leadership and development of analytical, strategic, and consulting skillsets
- Identify and communicate gaps/risks within Operational practices and provides potential solutions
- Conduct industry research to better understand trending capabilities and competitive position
- Influence and lead cross-departmental projects with the expectation of driving results up to the executive level

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, resource modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
- Developing a detailed understanding of industry/business practices and applying learnings to contribute in achieving an organization's strategic plan
- The ability to actively listen, understand, and communicate ideas presented in writing, verbally, or presentations delivered to forums potentially consisting of Executive Leaders
- Able to develop partnerships and lead initiatives with stakeholders across multiple departments, often with competing objectives
- Collecting, organizing, visualizing and assimilating data. This may also include turning raw data into meaningful information using data-oriented programming languages and visualization software (e.g. SQL, Alteryx, and Tableau)
- The ability to tell when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong, communicate the problem and provide solutions and recommendations
- Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems, often with imperfect information
- The ability to choose a method to solve a problem that adequately balances the need for accuracy while minimizing complexity
- Able to guide and support peers through thought-leadership in analytics, strategy, and presentation

• Required: High School Diploma or GED

• Expert level experience, expansive and far reaching knowledge in:• Management consulting• Analytics• Project Management

Physical Abilities
• Ability to perform work duties from [limited space work station/desk/office area] for extended periods of time
• Ability to communicate and interact with others in the English language to meet the demands of the job
• Ability to use a computer and other office productivity tools with sufficient speed and accuracy to meet the demands of the job

• Must maintain a well-groomed appearance per Company appearance standards as described in established guidelines
