Chewy is seeking a Senior Merchandising Operations Specialist on the Merchandising Systems & Services team (MSS) in Dania Beach, Florida.

The Merchandising Systems & Services Team (MSS) team is made up of several sub teams, Pricing, Catalog, Content, and Vendor Systems, and is responsible for creating the systems, services, and process infrastructure for all Chewy businesses. Our team’s mission is to be the backbone for Chewy’s Business/Category teams, helping win long-term customer trust, business growth, and profitability.

What You’ll Do:

Merch Systems & Services is seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Senior Merchandising Operations Specialist to join the Catalog team with a focus on new item setup, item maintenance, and issue resolution.

Process setup of new items to be added to the website through quality analysis of vendor data, conversion to Chewy standards, and integration into PIM and ERP systems
Update catalog data and content as requested through internal and external ticketing systems
Warehouse and Customer Service issue resolution
Communicate effectively with external partners to ensure an optimal vendor experience
Achieve SLAs and KPIs related to speed, quality, and throughput of assigned responsibilities

What You’ll Need:

BA in Business, Retail Merchandising, Marketing, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a related degree
1+ years of related work experience and/or internship demonstrated track record of innovation and impact
Results oriented mindset with the ability to react quickly to requests in a timely, accurate and detail-oriented manner
Experience using dashboards to monitor KPIs, identify and correct defects, perform root cause analysis on KPI misses
Ability to independently collaborate with merchants and deliver results on tight timelines
Ability to operate in ambiguous environments with speed and commitment to quality
Proficient Excel and MS Office skills
Strong oral and written communication
Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment

Bonus:

Prior experience in Software Quality Processes and Atlassian Tools such as (Confluence, JIRA, etc.)
Prior experience SQL
E-commerce or merchandising background
