About the Team
Workday's Professional Services organization is driven by a passion for our products and the success of our customers in implementing our outstanding cloud solutions. The goal of this team is to develop a knowledge framework that can be used to provide Industry's leading practices and expertise during deployments and to support pipeline growth as needed.

About the Role

In this new and high visibility role, they will have the opportunity to :

• Build and lead a team of consultants focused on the professional services industry
• Identify opportunities and challenges within this industry and provide a roadmap to increase our consulting capabilities and maturity ensuring Workdays customers realize the full potential of Workday's products and services.
• Partner with Field Readiness, consulting and delivery teams to support workday deployments with industry specific guidance and insights in a collaborative manner.
• Support business development efforts within this industry in the development of project opportunities, including but not limited to delivering services overviews to customers to articulate the value proposition, project phases, outcomes, effort, and costs
• Identify and drive content development opportunities and support enablement needs for the broader consulting organizations.
• Act as a senior Workday representative from the Professional Services group and work in large scale sophisticated deployments within this industry providing guidance to the customer and project teams.

About You

Basic qualifications

• 10+ years delivering large scale consulting engagements as a Lead Consultant implementing HCM and Financial applications and solutions (Workday, SAP, Oracle)
• 4+ years of experience working with Professional Services firms implementing enterprise cloud applications
• Strong background in implementing Workday PSA functionality is a plus
• Prior experience leading cross functional initiatives and providing organizational strategy
• Strong background in Workday deployment methodology and processes is a plus.
• Prior experience leading cross functional initiatives and providing solutions supporting project and customer teams.

• Strong verbal, presentation, and written communication skills, with proficiency in communicating across internal teams and customers through executive leadership
• Ability to work independently and lead multiple initiatives simultaneously
• Resourceful and adaptable; you'll be comfortable working in a new role, using a variety of tools with a high degree of autonomy
• Great teammate!
• Ability to travel up to 30% of the time
