In this role, you will collaborate with teammates in marketing, sales, and product management to develop and execute go-to-market strategies and activities for LivePerson’s managed solutions offerings. You will own solution-level messaging and positioning, analyze competitive and market research, and drive seller and partner enablement. You will actively engage with sellers and clients to showcase our offerings, and will partner with our product and content teams to develop compelling customer facing content. Additionally, you will establish the function of customer research to strengthen LivePerson’s ability to surpass our customer’s expectations and needs.

In this role you will:

  • Gain and maintain a deep understanding of our products, customers, prospects, competition, and market.
  • Collaborate with product management, bringing key market, buyer, and competitive insights to help inform our managed solutions portfolio.
  • Develop value-based messaging and positioning that communicates how LivePerson solutions uniquely solve audience problems and bring the story to life through collateral, web content, videos, presentations, white papers, RFP responses, and more.
  • Drive go-to-market planning and execution for new managed solutions.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop effective campaigns and messaging that will drive leads and revenue.
  • Enable LivePerson sellers with training and tools to be successful, including pitch decks, product demos, use cases, and battle cards.
  • Analyze information collected from win/loss interviews and pipeline behavior (conversion rates and velocity) to detect breakdowns in the marketing and sales process and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with product management and marketing leaders to define, implement, and routinely assess our product marketing processes and opportunities for improvement.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of LivePerson's managed solutions in the market and communicate the results of related sales and marketing efforts.
  • Establish and execute processes and procedures for acquiring customer research and drive findings across the marketing and sales organization.

Your qualifications are: 

  • 6+ years general marketing experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in marketing at a mid to enterprise level SaaS company. MBA is a plus, but not required.  Ideally, you are trained in the Pragmatic Marketing Framework.
  • A confident communication style that will define and influence across our organization.
  • A self-starter who delights in figuring out the unsolvable and coming up with the next big idea. 
  • Knowledge of technology buyers across Commerce (Sales/ Marketing) and Care. 
  • Creative thinker that can generate innovative marketing ideas and lead a cross-functional team.
  • Proven track record of crafting solution messaging, compelling stories and case studies.
  • Ability to influence sellers, marketers, and leadership to grow the business and drive a deeper understanding of our customers.
  • Proven track record in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines effectively.
