Joining Collibra's Global Deal Desk team:

Reporting to the VP, Business Operations, you will be leading and overseeing all aspects of the Deal Desk team including management of deals through the deal review process to ensure accuracy; business, operational and SLA compliance, and optimal deal structure and pricing response. 

In this role you’ll act as an escalation point for other team members on deal exceptions, more complex structuring issues, and deal desk matters. 

Living all of Collibra’s value while leading with  “Being the Customer’s Champion”, you will work to structure deals that serve as the customer’s champion while maximizing revenue and reducing risk for Collibra.

The Sr. Manager, Deal Desk (North America) at Collibra are responsible for:

  • Managing, mentoring, and fostering a synergy within the team and think of creative ways to challenge and uplift the team. 
  • Overseeing deal financials, pricing, business risk, revenue recognition implication while maximizing value for Collibra.
  • Working with Sales, Field Operations, and Legal throughout the contract process and providing suggestions and assistance in order to ensure proper processing, including but not limited to contract red line review and negotiations. 
  • Effectively resolving and champion questions arising between internal processes and customer needs. 
  • Working on issues that impact selling success by providing insights to improve and enhance processes to drive a smoother, easier, and frictionless experience.

You Have:

  • A Bachelor's degree and 9+ years of experience working in a commercial function within the SAAS industry (Deal Desk, Finance, Sales Operations experience preferred)
  • Experience with Salesforce.com and CPQ a must
  • Prior team lead or management experience 
  • Experience in complex deal structuring, including large Enterprise License Agreements 
  • Experience reviewing customer contracts and drafting contract language

  • Able to handle tough conversations and drive consensus on complex and difficult subjects

  • Experienced in customer negotiations  
  • Creative in finding solutions for customer, for the team, and for Collibra

Reporting to Collibra's VP, Business Ops, measures of success are:

  • Within your first month, you will have created a synergy with the team and have basic understanding of the daily tasks of Deal Desk
  • Within your third month, you will be overseeing the team and actively participating in deal structure calls and established yourself as the go to person for the Field 
  • Within your sixth month, you will have a full grasp of the function and will be digging into areas of improvement and efficiency
