The Sr. Manager, Danaher Business System (Continuous Improvement Leader) for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for promoting and facilitating continuous improvement within the global Supply Chain function, doing so through the successful practice of the Danaher Business System.

This position is part of the Global Integrated Supply Chain organization and may be located in Chaska, Minnesota or Miami, Florida. Individuals who are remote may be considered, but due to the need for Gemba collocation at one of our major sites is preferred.

You will be a member of the Global Integrated Supply Chain leadership team and report to the Vice President, Global Integrated Supply Chain. You will be responsible for leading both this team and DBSL's within the function on their journey toward advanced DBS maturity, providing both thought leadership and results on our most strategic initiatives.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Support improvement of the DBS organizational structure, development of the DBS capabilities of the functional and site leaders
  • Serve as a change facilitator, developing and collaborating with other site DBSL's, and influencing BEC Dx ISC leadership in the transformation to and/or in support of a continuous improvement culture.
  • Develop the DBS strategy within Integrated Supply Chain and improve the Policy Deployment work, and support the development of the Global Operations DBS strategy
  • Facilitate and/or conduct LEAN, growth, and leadership training programs, Kaizen events, and other LEAN initiatives.
  • Work independently, in teams, and sophisticated matrix environments across multiple geographies. Partner with DBSL's to drive strategy and action.
  • Ability to work and influence all levels of the organization from Senior Leaders, driving the improvement agenda for the organization. Own Kaizen sustainability, understand and develop bench strength, and hold leaders accountable for impact to KPI's.


The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor's degree with 14+ years of experience OR a master's degree with 12+ years of experience
  • Training and demonstrated mastery in an array of LEAN tools
