What You'll Do
The Creative Live Events Technical Production Sr Manager will lead technological solutions for live events, including partnering with the creative team to design sets and in-room designs, explore new innovations within the event space, build meaningful shows for our partners, and direct live event production teams. The Creative Live Events Technical Production Sr Manager works closely with the Event Producer, Live Events Director, content creators, and project managers.
Additionally, The Creative Live Events Technical Production Sr Manager works closely with projector managers and producers to staff projects and manage freelancers and vendors.
Responsibilities
- Lead technology solutions for live events and immersive projects
- Lead/design in-room staging
- Manages Creative and Video staff schedules and workload in approved technology
- Monitors daily, weekly, and monthly load balancing and makes resource allocations adjustments daily
- Work directly with the live events producer
- Manages client production priorities and scheduling conflicts
- Manages freelancer onboarding, contracts, and relationships
- Maintains professional internal and external relationships that meet company core values
- Reviews event SOW estimates + timelines
- Reviews work-back schedules and maps to existing resources, identifying over-allocated resources
- Meets with all creative teams to review progress and anticipate workflow issues
Who You Are
We've established that you're a great master of organization and logistics. You're also a collaborator who accepts feedback, meets deadlines, and is committed to excellent work.
- BA/BS Degree with at least 8+ years of relevant experience, OR MS Degree with at least 6+ years of relevant experience, OR Ph.D. with at least 3 years of relevant work experience, OR at least 12 years of relevant work experience with no degree
- 3+ years of experience in a management/leadership role, managing crews and timelines.
- Proven ability to resource teams of dozens of employees.
- 10 years of technical experience working in a live event environment (preferred)
