Job Summary
The Customer Xperience Technologies (CXT) organization at Comcast is responsible for the technology, systems, and tools that support the customer lifecycle (sales, activation, billing, support, etc.), as well as employee-facing functions such as human resources, finance, workplace information technology. CXT is a key department within Technology, Product, Xperience (TPX).

We are looking for an experienced leader to join the CXT Business Operations team. This position will partner with our Residential Services teams within CXT and report to the Sr. Director, CXT Business Operations.

The Sr. Manager, Business Operations will support the organizations financial operations, workforce planning/operations, and hardware/software/cloud planning/operations. This is a hands-on position and involves close partnership with cross-functional teams including Finance, HR, and Procurement.

The ideal candidate will be able to optimally work in the technical areas within Residential Services as well as corporate finance/accounting. The Sr. Manager, Business Operations will work within a team to acquire the vital requirements necessary to optimally acquire results
Job Description

Core Responsibilities

  • Drive financial operations function in areas of budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, procurement/payment.
  • Develop and implement labor strategy with employees, contractors, onshore/offshore team members
  • Partner with Procurement and client team to support the negotiation of vendor contracts and vendor management
  • Provide regular analysis/presentation to client groups/leadership, identify risks/opportunities and drive resolution to challenges
  • Gather and analyze data, summarize findings, articulate findings with partners/decision makers
  • Provide mentorship to client groups with budget and procurement related issues
  • Regular and consistent attendance.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.


Qualifications

  • 10+ years of relevant experience with a bachelor's degree (preferably in related field of study e.g., Finance, Accounting, Engineering, etc.)
  • Proficiency with the management of large IT budget and resource planning and management
  • Knowledge of business/finance and technical aspects of IT infrastructure: server, storage, private cloud, public cloud
  • Knowledge of SW development process, DevSecOps, and IT operations
  • Experience with negotiating large service provider, hardware, and software vendor contracts
  • Strong financial savvy, analytical and interpersonal skills and ability to effectively partner with wide range of partners
  • Experience working with Excel, Powerpoint, Salesforce, ServiceNow, JIRA, etc.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity - driving improvements/productivity with incomplete information

Bachelor's Degree
