Disney’s Addressable Ad Operations team is seeking a Sr. Manager, Advanced Operations who will be an exceptional addition to our Advertising Operations team and work across our exciting brands. These brands are composed of The Walt Disney Company’s (NYSE: DIS) global entertainment and news television properties, owned television stations, as well as radio and publishing businesses. This includes the ABC Television Network, ABC Owned Television Stations Group, ABC Studios, ESPN, Hulu, Disney Channels Worldwide, Freeform, FX and Net Geo as well as Disney/ABC Domestic Television and Disney Media Distribution.
Job Summary:
As Senior Manager, Advanced Operations at Disney, you will lead the Hulu Advanced Operations team. This team is comprised of high level ad ops specialists that are responsible for maximizing ad delivery and enabling Sales by being experts in troubleshooting data and technical issues, ad product testing, system setup, and managing vendor partnerships. The right person for this role will have excellent leadership skills and experience, the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements, a high technical aptitude, and strong analytical skills with the ability to cut through the noise and focus on data that impacts the business, experience working cross functionally, and the ability to communicate complex situations into simple terms.
Responsibilities :

  • Lead and coach team of high performing individual Ops specialists
  • Collaborate with legal and research on vendor certification
  • Work with Product and Development teams on new product requirement and testing of new products
  • Partner with internal teams (ops, sales, marketing) to establish new process/solutions to emerging client needs
  • Partner directly with ad tech vendors to troubleshoot and resolve reporting issues
  • Maintain documentation and training of AM teams on best practices, implementation, and technical limitations/capabilities of new products and vendors
  • Primary stakeholder representing Ops for major issues and escalations


Basic Qualifications :

  • 5+ years working in digital advertising capacity, with a focus on ad technology, ad systems, or ad product
  • 2+ years of experience managing a team
  • Experience working with, or implementing, 3rd party vendor tags
  • Strong communication skills. Ability to convey technical concepts to a non-technical audience
  • Experience defining and driving Ad Ops strategy with internal teams
  • Familiarity with digital advertising standards and best practices
  • Strong analytical experience
  • Prior experience in managing/participating in multi-departmental work groups
  • Superior prioritization and time management skills


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience stewarding multiple 3rd party vendor relationships concurrently
  • Familiarity with Hulu’s ad server or Google Ad Manager
  • Familiarity with Operative.One
  • Experience with project management tools

  • Bachelor's Degree
