The Sr. IT Operations Business Systems Analyst needs to be highly collaborative, process and results oriented. This role is tasked with delivering process improvements in the areas of ITSM support intake, the technical aspects of the “hire to retire” process and productivity tool improvements. Responsibilities 

  • Develop business requirements, document business processes, define business logic mapped to tech stack, create optimization and monitoring strategies and work with the implementation teams to communicate and develop solutions. 
  • Partner with cross-functional business teams to facilitate alignment around project issues and define best practice business processes.  
  • Lead Business Process Mapping and gap analysis, project scoping, planning, and scheduling for the “Hire to Retire” process, IT Service Management intake and resolution, and Productivity tool efficiency.
  • Ensure processes meet compliance needs to achieve audits for SOX, ISO27001 and SOC2 and others. 
  • Interact with vendors, third parties and manage SoW’s to ensure value is maximized and new product capabilities are realized. 
  • Asses the “as is” environment and identify inefficiencies, and create a process improvement road map with a focus on enterprise scale. 
  • Own On-boarding, employee change and off-boarding technical lifecycle, User Access Review and SoD mapping. 
  • Ensuring that all processes in the IT Operations space are thoroughly documented, consistently audited, and regularly improved. 
  • Conduct and share results by developing KPI’s to track improvement and report out to stakeholders on a quarterly cadence. 

Requirements 

  • 5+ years of experience in IT Operations with a broad technical background. 
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver successful business system projects and experience with business analysis and business process improvement in a high-growth enterprise SaaS environment. 
  • Good analytical skills, understanding of project and process lifecycles, and the ability to act in an independent manner to ensure the technical delivery matches business needs. 
  • Strong written, verbal, and listening communication skills: an articulate and effective communicator able to describe complex problems and solutions in understandable terms; ability to frame communications to a diverse set of stakeholders. 
  • Strong collaboration skills while working with SME's, senior leaders, and stakeholders to drive business analysis/user requirements. 
  • Strong knowledge and best practices in IT Service Management and platforms like ServiceNow, Jira or other support platforms. 
  • Broad experience with SaaS platforms and common collaboration / productivity applications.  
  • Experience with security tools, threat modeling and risk management frameworks like CIS or NIST is a plus.
