Description:
We are currently seeking an Azure Cloud Engineer to join the Enterprise Cloud Adoption (eCAT) team, within Global Information Services. If you want to be part of an inclusive, adaptable, and forward-thinking team, apply now.
Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Acting as a technical subject matter expert on cloud technology
- Designing, migrating, building, and managing Microsoft Azure solutions
- Gathering and translating business requirements into Microsoft Azure use cases and architectures
- Providing technical support and problem management (minimal off-shift support)
- Performing implementation and integration tasks for medium to large, complex in-house developed systems and/or purchased software solutions
Background/Experience:
- 5+ years in application development or application operations
- Experience developing automated solutions to deploy infrastructure or applications ( PowerShell, VBS, Python, Java, NodeJS, JSON or YAML )
- Knowledge of RHEL/Windows server environments
- Proven ability to troubleshoot application connectivity issues across a complex global network
- Experience developing architectural designs, processes and procedures
- Azure Certification(s)
Top Candidates Will Also Have:
- Experience using the Agile methodology
- Experience working with CI/CD pipeline tools such as Azure DevOps or Jenkins.
- Experience working with corporate security on infrastructure or applications security compliance and remediation activities
