Responsibilities

How Will You Contribute to the Company?

This role will report to the Senior Marketing Manager, Corporate Events, and will plan and execute sponsorships/exhibits at industry conferences and trade shows. The right candidate will serve as an event expert, working closely with all areas of marketing, to identify event goals, messaging, booth design/layout, and coordination of logistics for events.

World-class events help the company gain access to, build trust with, and close deals with our core audience. Expertly executed events reach new prospects and business opportunities, increase brand awareness, and build brand affinity.

What Will You Do?

  • Organize and manage the presence of Cradlepoint at conferences, industry trade shows, exhibitions, and corporate events.
  • Organize and streamline the event processes: Including research, booking, vendor management, planning, shipping, staffing, and budget management
  • Identify and secure speakers, and staff for each event coordinating with internal executive staff
  • Develop creative, out-of-the ordinary, experimental marketing plans to boost attendance and increase audience engagement
  • Analyze the success of each event and propose creative new improvements for the event experience
  • Monitor event opportunities and measure event ROI
  • Learn the Cradlepoint technology, use cases, and software demos to effectively convey the Cradlepoint value proposition at trade shows and events



Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree in marketing, communications, hospitality, journalism (or relevant field) or equivalent working experience
  • Minimum of 5+ years experience in event planning/management, and vendor relationship management; additional experience in B2B, IT/Networking, SaaS is a plus
  • Must be an excellent communicator, with a great attitude and personality for employee relations
  • Have working knowledge of other service-oriented roles including, space management, audio/visual, decor, entertainment, signage, housing, and speaker management
  • Have the ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities on strict deadlines
  • Be experienced in managing multiple vendors and multiple projects at once
  • Excellent organizational skills, highly proactive, and detail-minded with proven experience finding creative ways to do more with less and a track record of delivering results on time-and on budget
  • CTSM or CEM certified preferred
