THIS IS A CORPORATE POSITION
SUMMARY
The Senior Director of QCC Operations will have responsibility for leading a minimum of five (5) Quality Control Centers operations including dough production, transportation, distribution, maintenance, inventory control, team member relations and P&L accountability to actual results and budgets. This position also maintains a high degree of customer satisfaction through interaction with the support teams (corp & field), vendors and restaurant customer base. This position will be based in Louisville, KY.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plan, direct and coordinate all QCC Operations including production, distribution and transportation activities throughout the Quality Control Center
  • Establish QCC Operations standards and measures to ensure high quality and low cost processes are in place in support of the company business plan.
  • Assure compliance of Quality Control Center operations with company policy including safety and quality audit requirements and all Federal, State and local regulations.
  • Establish the flow of information to evaluate Quality Control Center performance and provide production and distribution with pertinent development/sales information, trends, costs, etc.
  • Responsible to our customers, the Papa Johns restaurants to assure the Quality Control Centers exceed customer expectations in both production of our fresh dough product and in the distribution of goods on-time and accurately.
  • Establish and maintain effective work relationships within the department, the Quality Control Center system, Papa Johns International and the community.
  • Perform those administrative activities necessary for the effective management of the department including provision for the selection and development of team members, pay administration, budget preparation and administration, team member safety, team member counseling and motivation, organizational goals/objectives, and planning, organizing, integrating and measuring the work performed by the operations areas.

FUNCTIONAL SKILLS

  • Must be able to effectively communicate and give direction verbally and in writing in English.
  • Moderate-to-extensive travel is required.
  • Must be able to demonstrate an in-depth understanding of production support administration functions including budgeting, development, accounting, engineering and human resources.
  • Must be team oriented and work well with others in an environment requiring a high degree of flexibility, including flexible schedules.


EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND CERTIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in a business/science-related program required.
  • A minimum of 7 years of progressive senior level responsibility in a manufacturing and distribution operation (preferably food) is required, demonstrating a broad background in manufacturing technology and line operating experience.
