Purpose: The purposes of this role is to aid the compliance team in meeting LendingTree’s regulatory and contractual requirements.

Description of role:

• Partner with business to understand compliance risks and improve processes
• Develop and execute monitoring and testing program with various business partners 
• Design, develop, and execute compliance test scripts
• Provide advice on controls product managers can use for the identification, measurement and monitoring of risks associated with significant business activities and underlying processes
• Respond to business partner audits and questionnaires
• Work with technology to help automate compliance processes or monitoring
• Work with regulators and clients to improve monitoring and testing results
• Track, monitor and oversee the timely closure of identified issues resulting from monitoring and testing activities, exams, risk assessments
• Identify opportunities to strengthen the control environment to help implement consistent and repeatable processes

Required Experience:

• 8+ years compliance experience in regulatory compliance or testing
• Experience implementing testing or quality assurance programs with a risk-based approach
• Experience implementing or improving compliance policies and procedures
• Experience with UDAAP, advertising, marketing, and related consumer protection regulations
• Experience in financial services preferred
