Sr. Associate - Campus Events Strategy Operations
Role Overview
Sitting on the CES LT, this role will support horizontal operations for the Campus Events Strategy team and will partner with Event Leads, coordinators, and OneCampus partners to streamline the team’s processes. This person will manage ongoing/in-season work in addition to owning a variety of season setup tasks.
Core Responsibilities
Staffing Processes & Campus Engagement Associates
Supports staffing processes including:
Proactively thinking through ideal staffing timeline and keeping team on track to meet staffing timeline
Developing and monitoring staffing sign up sheet
Developing staffing cadence and communications
Reimagines interaction with Campus Engagement Associates
Creates plan for ongoing engagement, including engagement of volunteers who are not alumni of core schools
Partners with OneCampus teams, such as DEEP, to find best way to engage BRG members and keep them updated
Owns Campus Engagement Associate training plans
Owns Campus Engagement Associate communication and marketing, including, but not limited to, regular newsletters/touchpoints, Slack engagement, and recognition strategy (raffles, keeping track of associates who attended events)
CES Process Management & Planning
Supports CES processes including:
Workstream coordination (spring & winter)
Retro timing, coordination, and deck-building support
Master logistics doc creation and maintenance
Onboarding processes and training materials
Developing and owning processes to support Event Leads during high-volume event weeks and shifting event execution ownership as needed
Budget tracking
Birthday and anniversary milestone tracking
Supports team planning processes by:
Help drive agenda items during weekly meetings (both team-wide and LT)
Plan the agenda/logistics and co-lead quarterly CES “team days”
Partner with CES Lead and LT to prepare for and develop quarterly OneCampus planning materials
Data Management & Insights
Owns events data management and regularly provides in-time insights for the LT and broader team to drive strategy
Partners with others on the CES team to ensure data is well-managed
Tracks, monitors, and provides insights on key metrics including:
Volume of events
Volume of attendees
Ratio of URG-to-general events and attendees
Attendee-to-applicant metrics
Survey feedback insights
Proactively shares insights to ensure we are tracking toward our goals
Owns survey strategy and rollout for the recruiting season for both internal (our associate volunteers) and external (candidates) parties
DIB Roadmap & Events Evolution
Work with CES Team Lead to map out and maintain DIB Roadmap and craft a story of how DIB events are evolving
Collaboration with CES Team Lead to co-own DIB roadmap and connections
Work with Event Lead to consult on direct-to-student URG events
Stand-In Event Lead (as needed)
Serves as alternate Event Lead if there are staffing vacancies or in-season support needed
Skills / Experience
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Proficient in Google Suite, particularly Sheets
Experience interpreting metrics and generating insights
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree
At least 1 year of experience in Recruiting OR at least 1 year of experience in Project Management OR at least 1 year of experience in Event Planning
Preferred Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in Campus Recruiting
2+ years of experience in planning events
