Role and Responsibilities

The Supply Chain Operations Manager is an integral part of the central supply chain group in Samsung's Mobile division.
This role is responsible for leading the core Mobile customer account responsible for helping SEA achieve our business objectives while remaining accountable for global key performance indicators. This team is the "control tower" for SEA Operations and should proactively identify risks and opportunities at the customer, company, and headquarters (SEC) levels. Success factors include directing a team in the seamless execution of SCM processes, driving operational excellence, and achieving business results by supporting sales and functional teams.
The candidate will become the Mobile Group's Subject Matter Expert (SME) on Samsung's SCM (Supply Chain Management) processes and systems, lead the operationalization of supply chain initiatives and enhancements, and ensure the stability of Mobile operations via adherence to SCM operational KPIs (Key Performance Indicators).
The role involves deep collaboration with HQ and SEA account, Process Innovation, customers, Strategic SCM, Packaging, and Logistics teams. It may include leading task forces to attack challenges that our customers R teams accountable to their forecast and KPI's, and they should remain steadfast, holding up the principles of our supply chain in the face of consistent sales and supply pressures.
The candidate will take ownership of a broad range of SCM-related topics, proactively identify potential issues and opportunities, and develop/recommend appropriate actions.

Skills and Qualifications:• Bachelor's Degree with 8+ years of directly related experience is required.• Prior experience in Supply Chain and Forecasting required• Prior experience in product/services planning and/or strategy required• Ability to think critically and problem solve in a fast-paced environment• Ability to synthesize large amounts of information quickly• Strong hands-on experience with excel is a must have, to create consistent reporting, building complex models, financial analysis to identify financial risk and opportunities• Plan, organize, and prioritize multiple assignments and projects.• Month-end closing, ad hoc accounting, and various financial duties• Must have demonstrated project and program management skills• Prior experience in Mobile support or Consumer Electronics is a plus• Experience and curiosity to leverage advanced analytics tools such as Tableau, machine learning building time series and regression models for forecasting, pricing and promotional analytics is a plus.• The ability to sort through multiple and potentially conflicting directions, select the best path and convince all to move forward with that path• The ability to develop tasks and work assignments, based on sometime vaguely defined objectives• Must have experience with Microsoft Office Suite and extensive use of Microsoft presentation/Excel software• Demonstrated competency in both oral and written communication modes for both internal and external personnel at various levels• Ability to think critically and problem solve in a fast-paced environment• Ability to see from the customer's perspective• Integrate data, create dashboards, develop insights and recommendations for assigned devices and customer account

Necessary Skills & Attributes:• Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with all assigned levels within and outside the company.• Plan, organize, and prioritize multiple assignments and projects.• Review detailed product development, marketing documents, and media materials as needed.• Demonstrated competency in both oral and written communication modes for both internal and external personnel at various levels.• Work independently and in a team environment to achieve customer business objectives, personal and team goals and complete assignments within established time frames and specifications.• The ability to develop tasks and work assignments based on sometimes vaguely defined objectives.• Provide, consolidate and execute weekly reporting to SCM & account team related to Aging inventory

Physical/Mental Demands and Working Conditions:
The position requires the ability to perform the essential duties and responsibilities in the following environment:• Operate a computer keyboard and view a video display terminal 50% of work time, including prolonged periods of time.• Performs work under time schedules and stresses which are normally periodic or cyclical, including time-sensitive job stress, fatigue, unpaid overtime, intellectual challenge, constant technical data feedback, language barriers, and business management stress.• Frequently works additional hours beyond regular schedule.• Under very little direct supervision with a high level of responsibility to apply general policies and guidelines where decisions are seldom monitored, and consequences of decisions adversely affect operating results and management decisions.
