Role Description

The EMR and Software Support Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day management of Oak Street Health's Electronic Medical Record (EMR), Greenway Primesuite. Responsible for managing, implementing, and training Oak Street's new team members on Greenway functionality and workflows, as well as providing ongoing training and support for team members who are already using Greenway in our clinics. Success requires high levels of problem solving ability, a high degree of resourcefulness, and excellent communications skills. Specific role responsibilities include:

  • Becoming Oak Street internal expert on clinical and service team workflows
  • Maintaining the day to day systems of our EMR
  • Developing management reports based on data in our EMR
  • Training new users on our EMR and assisting with new user onboarding process
  • Serving as first line of defense for help desk/GWY functionality questions and issues
  • Interacting directly with clinic staff and providing training and support on an ongoing basis

This role reports directly to the Associate Manager of Software Support Desk and has significant opportunity for advancement and growth of responsibility.

  • 1-2 years of healthcare, consulting, or other professional experience
  • Experience and facility with technical troubleshooting and problem-solving
  • Familiarity with medical terminology
  • Strong presence, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • A problem-solving orientation and a flexible and positive attitude
  • Incredible level of organization and reliability
  • Flexibility to travel throughout Chicagoland, between our clinics
  • US work authorization
