We are looking for a highly skilled Specialist, Operations, to support the Dispatcher. At XPO, you'll have the support to excel at work and the resources to build a career you can be proud of.

What you'll do on a typical day:

• Support the Dispatcher in his/her duties of dispatching trucks to meet customer requirements
• Make appointments for pickup and delivery; update systems
• Keep track of empty container availability
• Forward Proof of Delivery on appropriate web-billed accounts
• Monitor import container releases from the pier and rail to prevent demurrage
• Oversee and answer daily emails

What you need to succeed at XPO:

At a minimum, you'll need:

• 1 year of relevant work or military experience

It'd be great if you also have:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1 year of transportation experience
• Excellent analytical, communication and time management skills
• Experience with Microsoft Office
