Pratt & Whitney's 30K Production Chief organization is seeking a highly motivated, experienced employee to join our team in this exciting and challenging role. The team actively supports Pratt & Whitney's growth products engaging in a collaborative work environment to enable Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) engine deliveries and Airbus customer support. In this role the successful candidate will be responsible for executing to our MRO demand profile, supporting Airbus through management reviews and driving allocations across MRO / OEM.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage program allocation of constrained material to support program priorities
  • Critical material status reports (i.e. Heatmap) process (integrate build plan updates, reporting, ad-hoc)
  • Coordination with Global Network Operations and Command Center regarding Critical Parts List updates
  • Support Sales Inventory & Operations Planning (SI&OP) process & facilitate gap closure activities
  • Focus on automation/increase in efficiency of existing processes/tools
  • Support automation of heat map and critical part reporting
  • Early warning tool to identify material shortages
  • Aftermarket repair tracking/follow up
  • Airbus reporting
  • (IQR) data gathering / planning



Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree in engineering, supply chain, operations management or related field with 5+ years of engineering, materials or operations related experience with strong leadership capabilities or Advanced Degree in a related field with 3+ years experience
  • Strong analytical and strategic skills
  • Ability to derive insights from detailed analysis of complex data
  • Strong leader and team player
  • Effective communication skills at all levels of the organization
  • Strong knowledge of SAP as well as skilled in the use of MS Office Suite tools
  • United States Citizen due to government contracts



Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced Degree (MS/MBA) preferred in a related field
