What you will learn and contribute to

DUTIES:. Investigate LTE network call flows (diameter protocol), network traces (Wireshark), and application logs (system level translog) related to the troubleshooting of 911 and commercial call failures and recovering the outage situation. Regulate location service application of Nokia NLS/WDS for the continuous monitoring and periodic health checks to avoid any abnormal behavior. Work closely with Nokia Research and Development (R&D) team and Nokia customers to identify the best solutions for the location service application NLS/WDS issues during day to day operations. Understand major/critical mongo database errors and applying necessary actions like fixing mongo database sync problems and recovering DB virtual machine back to functioning state and fixing DB processes. Ramp up key performance tools for NLS/WDS KPIs trending, syslog information, and stats report generation tools such as Grafana/Sev-One for alarms monitoring. Provide product based training to customer engineers as part of new feature testing to get customer confidence and creating proposals to ensure the customer expansion activity runs smoothly without any network outages. #LI-DNI

Your skills and experience

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field and 5 years of experience to involve: (1) Diameter and SIP protocol with managing Subscriber data related to GSM/UMTS; (2) HSS, NT-HLR and nSignia; and (3) investigate LTE network call flows (diameter protocol), network traces (Wireshark), and application logs (system level translog) and troubleshooting and commercial call failures and recovering the outage situation. Domestic travel required 25% of the time.
