The Snr. Director of IT Management & Governance role is responsible for the ownership, development, and leadership of the IAM, EUC, Communication, Infrastructure IT and the associated automation teams at KnowBe4. This role includes the forward planning of these groups as well as the day to day operational controls of the systems and personnel. This position will be responsible for the audit and governance of IT systems and processes.
Primary Responsibilities
- Provide a point of ownership and development for IT system management, governance, and process automation
- Provide a point of ownership for defined enterprise functions such as identity management, end user computing deployment and security, IT communication systems and infrastructure
- Develop and maintain a roadmap of CB efforts and improvements including achieving all pre-set baselines as well as provide vision and strategy for future development
- Translate IT strategic goals into operational plans
- Engage with key stakeholders and the project management group to prioritize and design IT projects
- Develop, manage and control a project delivery plan and report critical milestone updates to leadership.
- Evaluate current SaaS solutions as well as potential new solutions to eliminate tech debt and maximize efficiency
- Identify and document process improvements/changes that help streamline and improve department functionality
- Maximize efficiency throughout IT processes with automation and integrations of systems
- Manage goals, priorities, escalations, volumes, aged projects, and other associated processes and metrics
- Hire, promote, discipline, and fire subordinate employees, or the employee’s suggestions and recommendations as to the hiring, promoting, disciplining, and firing subordinate employees is given particular weight
Education and Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of project management experience
- Minimum 5 years in a technical project environment
- Familiar with technical compliance requirements (SOX, SOC2, Fedramp, ISO)
- Experience in resource management
- Experience in cloud systems (Azure, SAML/SSO Provider)
- Experience in automation/workflow systems
- Experience in software and SaaS development
- Experience in JIRA and Smartsheets
- Team management including resource and project planning
- High level technical understanding of cloud based, automation and analytical systems
- API development
- Cloud infrastructure understanding
- Strong time management skills with adaptability to manage multiple projects, priorities and employees
- Strong customer service skills
