Please review the following job description:

Provide superior customer service to medium and large commercial accounts by assisting the Account Service Representatives. This position will be working in our Construction Division.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.

Handle all daily servicing needs of the client including, but not limited to:

1. Account Service:

  • Handles requests from clients and carriers for policy changes, certificates, invoicing, underwriting information.
  • Establish and maintain a good business relationship with both clients and company personnel; work with Account Service Representatives to resolve any issues.

2. Marketing:

  • Obtain new/renewal information from the clients and carriers.
  • Assist in preparation and review of applications for submission to carriers.

3. Administrative:

  • Prepare and issue binders, certificates, invoices, etc. on new and renewal business.
  • Basic office duties such as faxing, filing, copying documents.

1. Organized, detail oriented, persuasive and quality focused
2. Excellent computer skills
3. Strong communication skills, verbal and written
4. Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products
5. Ability to travel, occasionally overnight
