Overview
The PennyMac Information Security department is looking to hire a senior leader to drive and manage our identity and access management program. This position reports to the Chief Information Security Officer. This is an executive leadership role responsible for setting the vision, managing execution, and coaching talent across IAM for the enterprise. PennyMac's growth has driven the need to align IAM technologies under a unified vision to ensure alignment and rationalization of efforts. This leader will inherit a team focusing primarily on identity governance and administration and has the opportunity to establish architecture and engineering teams to expand IAM capabilities.
Job Description

  • Author and manage execution of IAM enterprise roadmap and program to continually improve upon capabilities.
  • Oversee Identity governance and administration (IGA) team of 17 (joiner, mover, leaver operations and compliance activities).
  • Establish architecture and engineering team to deepen technical capabilities and optimize IAM value streams.
  • Proactively collaborate with senior leadership to optimize and align identity and access management primarily focusing on employee/contractor IAM including but not limited to IGA, access management, privileged access management, and role/entitlement management.
  • Provide advanced knowledge and guidance fof business processes, internal control risk management, and cybersecurity controls broadly but with focus in IAM.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with business unit access management stakeholders to ensure delivery is enabling operations.
  • Evaluate, select, and deploy IAM technology systems.
  • Design and implement KPI metrics to monitor compliance of IAM programs against IT controls.
  • Develop a clear understanding of PennyMac systems to oversee development of IAM runbooks and procedures.

Ideal Candidate will have the following:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or equivalent work experience
  • 7+ years of relevant experience in Information Security with a specialization in IAM
  • Experience managing identity and access management projects throughout their full SDLC.
  • Ability to attract and retain talent and stay close to the IAM industry.
  • Understanding of NIST CSF and FFIEC security frameworks and industry best practices.
  • Experience working with cloud-based technologies with AWS experience preferred.
  • Deep understanding of SSO, privileged identity access, Federation, RBAC, and IAM solutions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to self-start and spearhead initiatives with minimal direction and oversight.
  • Prefer industry certifications CISSP, CISM, CISA.
