Senior Support Analyst, Managed Applications

The Red Hat IT team is looking for a Senior Support Analyst to join us in Raleigh, NC. In this role, you will support our internal enterprise business applications. You'll work alongside IT developers, business partners, and business controls to ensure and document IT processes and procedures. You'll assist with supporting and coordinating IT technology controls. As a Senior Support Analyst, you'll work with program managers and other control teams to coordinate and arrange audit activities. You'll be responsible for creating business cases, eliciting business requirements, and process maps.
What you will do
- Develop business case documents, requirements, and process maps, and represent the project at required forums
- Collaborate with business customers on requirements gathering and business analysis
- Document use cases, create physical and logical data models, and build deployment plans
- Work with multiple IT teams in support of audit activities
- Work with technical developers and database administrators on production issues and project activities
- Represent the team in meetings with stakeholders
- Perform functional designs, standard and custom configuration, functional testing, and release support
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects within committed time frames
- Define the scope of an actionable project, working in tandem with Business and IT stakeholders
- Document issues and provide supporting documentation to the Business System team to illustrate current state, problems, etc.
- Conduct training sessions for end-users
- Actively question and challenge customers to understand their requirements and design optimal solutions
What you will bring
- 5+ years of experience with delivering on projects as part of a cross-functional, cross-departmental team
- Previous experience creating business cases, requirements, and process maps
- Ability to form and maintain beneficial working relationships across multiple areas of Operations, Sales, and IT
- Experience working with auditors and business control teams
- Experience modeling and establishing the process flow of data between systems
- Bachelor's degree
- Fluent English language skills
- Detailed and concise written and verbal communication, and documentation skills
- Expertise in facilitating meetings, webinars, and conference calls
- Experienced in the business side and IT delivery of solutions
- Experience with agile methodologies
- Experience working with agile projects is a plus
