Job Title: Senior Security Operations Analyst (Eagan, MN)

Job Duties: Responsible for managing cyber security alerts, events, and incidents as well as partnering with the other ISRM (Information Security Risk Management) capabilities to help improve the company security posture.

Duties Include:
1. Responsible for working in a 24x7 Security Operation Center (SOC) environment.
2. Serve as the main escalation point for SOC analysts.
3. Help drive SOC process and procedure improvements and enhancements.
4. Perform malware analysis through open-source and vendor provided tools.
5. Coordinate with Intel analysts on open source activities.
6. Provide analysis and trending of security log data from a large number of heterogeneous security devices.
7. Monitor Cyber Security alerts to help determine prioritization and create event/incident cases.
8. Provide Incident Response (IR) support when analysis confirms actionable incident.
9. Collaborate with other ISRM teams to provide feedback on Cyber Security detection and alerting capabilities.
10. Collaborate with other teams within the company to help perform more complex investigations.
11. Provide threat and vulnerability analysis as well as security advisory services.
12. Perform regular threat hunting by utilizing security tools and intelligence information to identify and remediate potential security threats.
13. Integrate and share information with other analysts and other teams.
14. Investigate, document, and report on information security issues and emerging trends.
15. Drive network security monitoring and incident response for a global enterprise network.
16. Perform Network Security Monitoring (NSM) including collecting and analyzing information to detect suspicious behavior or unauthorized system changes on your network, defining which types of behavior should trigger alerts, and taking action on alerts as needed.
17. Work hours - 2nd shift from 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm
Position Requirements: Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Information Technology, Networking Technology or a related field, plus 2 years' experience working in a SOC or on an incident response team. Experience may be gained concurrently and must include the following:

1) 2 years' experience performing security investigations across different platforms including OS, networks, cloud, and messaging.
2) 2 years' experience coordinating with multidisciplinary groups and stakeholders when managing or investigating security incidents.
3) 2 years' experience working with various security tools including SIEM, EDR, AV, forensics, firewalls, cloud, & SOAR.
4) 2 years' experience analyzing Applications Security threat & vulnerability.
5) Must have GCIH (Global Information Assurance Certified Incident Handler) certification.
6) Work hours - 2nd shift from 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm
