The Senior Property Systems Engineers assume responsibility for implementing projects related to Property Systems and hosting as well as its health and operation. They design and implement project tasks and provide Level III technical support and duties for the customers of those systems. They oversee and delegate project tasks with Property Systems Engineers to increase efficiency and throughput of the project and automation teams. They maintain communications with appropriate teams and personnel to provide notification, escalation and resolution towards projects, incidents, and requests. Provide documentation and guideline on project implementation and system maintenance and support. They acquire knowledge from all available channels and share with colleagues in order to improve the knowledge level of the Property Systems team.
Responsibilities
Design and implement new technologies and roll-out new products and systems in coordination with other technical staff.
Provide technical guidance on projects and operational issues affecting the Property Systems.
Monitoring, maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of Property Systems.
Performs trend analysis on monitoring, incident reports, project tasks and service tickets.
Maintain channels of communication with the related application technicians to ensure prompt technical support of any and all Property Systems and Interface related problems and project tasks.
Coordinate communication and support with the hotels and third-party technical vendor.
Provide oversight for the Property Systems support and project queues including process tracking and reporting.
Participate in the development and implementation of related systems.
Create and carry out changes as agreed upon the reviewed solution and represent in Hyatt Change Board.
Provides on-call or after-hours technical support or implementation for the group if and when needed.

Experience
Five plus years’ experience
Progressive experience in Opera PM, Programming, Scripting and Tier 3 Technical support role
Education
University degree in Information Systems or Information Technology
Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Certified in ITIL Foundations v.3 or equivalent preferred
Computer Skills Needed to Perform this Job
Experience in Oracle hospitality property systems solutions
Administrator with strong experience of providing administrative support of Windows 2008/2012 R2 servers. Powershell experience is preferred
Additional Comments and Requirements
Candidate will participate with the on-call support rotation for the group. This entails being available after hours, weekends and holidays as needed.
Must be able to educate, train or mentor other members within the team with internal tools and skill sets.
Hotel / Hospitality operations experience preferred
