Job Summary
Researches, develops, administers and evaluates programs/projects in response to the identified needs of the Division. Responsible for developing strategies to drive enterprise initiatives and budget management in conjunction with senior medical and administrative leaders throughout the Division.

Job Details

Responsibilities:
  • Acts as the primary liaison for highly complex initiatives and with organizational impact for the Division.
  • Develops the strategy for project execution.
  • Sets and drives goals and timelines as they relate to initiatives.
  • Creates an effective plan to meet objectives.
  • Provides clarity around objectives, including metrics, baselines, and targets.
  • Communicates plans and status to stakeholders, including team, sponsors and executive leadership.
  • Ensures approved projects are within scope and on time.
  • Drives accountability around commitments across project teams.
  • Responsible for budget requirements, including scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions when necessary.
  • Ensures results can be incorporated into daily business practices.
  • Creates systems and processes to measure results over time.
  • Researches, performs analysis, compiles data, and advises Division leadership relative to long or short term strategies.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare, Engineering, Architecture or related field required; Master's Degree preferred.


Certifications:
  • Professional Engineer or Registered Architect required


Complexity of Work:
  • Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to take appropriate action in a stressful environment.


Work Experience:
  • Minimum 10 years relevant experience with at least three years experience managing large projects.
  • Leadership experience required over complex projects or a team of professionals.
  • Experience in planning, design, construction and operation of facilities is preferred
  • Experience planning and implementing systems and procedures
  • Experience in real estate transactions from inception through completion, and the process of due diligence


Physical Requirements:
  • Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a personal computer and other office and laboratory equipment.
  • Must be able to sit for one hour or more.
  • Must be able to work under stressful conditions.


Personal Protective Equipment:
  • Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required for procedures.
